Hello Parents! We’re glad you’ve found your way to this page! The student ministries of CLCC exist to serve you as a parent/guardian in raising successful teenagers. We have structured this ministry to function through relationships. What could be more important to your student? We believe that the most important relationship your child can have is with you, the #1 influencer in their life. However, we realize that it takes a tribe to raise a child. Our aim is to partner with you by joining in the journey of your student’s life through middle school and high school. We operate through a team of pastors and adult volunteers that work at facilitating communities of faith among teenagers in Abbotsford. Not only that, but we hope to be a blessing to your entire family as well. SAFE LEADERSHIP We put a high value on safety in all we do. Our team of leaders have all undergone criminal record checks and an interview/application process in order to be a part of our team. They also are required to attend a “Plan To Protect” seminar that trains them in proper protocol when working with minors. CONNECTING There are different entry points into clccyouth.com and Collide. We realize that because someone is connected at one point, does not mean they will connect at all points. However, we hope your child will find at least one point where they can make a significant connection, whether it is at a midweek program, small group, or serving team. (for info on possible connection points click here) We will do our part in trying to help get your son or daughter connected, but the most important player on the team is you: the parents. Please continue to pray for your children, help them make healthy spiritual commitments, and do what you can to facilitate them being connected into a student ministry. It takes commitment to get connected... If you need help getting your son or daughter connected to our ministry please allow us to help. • We'll have one of our leaders call and/or write your student to personally invite him/her to one of our events. • We'll share whatever information we can that might help you help your student get involved. • We will do our best to help them connect If you’d like to contact us, either call us 604.853.4166 or write us an e-mail.
